1. Emotion and Aging
The Emotion and Aging study is examining the
experience and physiology of emotions across adult development. We are
looking for men and women ages 20-30, 40-50, and 60 and over to
participate. Participants are compensated $50.
Participation in the study involves:
(1) completing an anonymous questionnaire packet
asking about one's personality, emotions, and current health history
(about 40 minutes);
(2) completing a session in our laboratory on
the UC Berkeley campus (about 2.25 hours). During the session, participants
will be asked to watch film clips that elicit different emotional
responses, and will be asked to report on what they are experiencing.
Physiological measures such as heart rate activity, respiration, and skin
conductance will be recorded.
