Executive Committee

Coordinator: Wang, Gewei

Functions: Coordinate among those different functions; represent the BCR when necessary; make important announcements.

Geiwei is a second year Ph.D. student in Economics. He hopes to lead BCR into a diversified group full of meaningful events and fun.

 

Director of Liaison: Tan, Congyan

Functions: Keep contact with outside and sister organizations; deal with varying issues related to inter-organizational issues; raise fund from sources outside the campus.

Congyan Tan is a second year Ph.D. student in Economics. Anyone wanna play tennis, look for old clean yet funny jokes, or wanna share good jokes, he is the person to call!

 

Director of Academics: Lei, Zhen

Functions: Call speakers, make schedules, send talk announcement, and manage mailing list.

Zhen is a third year Ph.D. student in Agricultural & Resource Economics. His research interest includes development and transition economics, technology economics, and international economics. He has a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical chemistry and did postdoctoral work in Biochemistry at Berkeley , before switching to economics.

 

Director of Administration: Zeng, Li

Functions: Responsible for logistic matters such as arranging seminar rooms, water, name tag, and also help with treasurer's work.

Li Zeng is a third year Ph.D. student in Economics. His research interests include international finance, international trade. Li is also a devoted fan of Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
