Prevention by Design offers a series of training
materials for those interested in preventing alcohol
and drug problems at the city level. These materials
are available for general use and distribution:
First, a short overview of the community-based
environmental approach to prevention and how it
applies to cities is available in both a trainer
and participant adobe file. Second, an expanded
version is available that goes into greater detail,
suitable for a half-day workshop. We also offer
a comprehensive action guide that goes into greater
detail than the workshops, complete with reference
materials in .pdf format. Prevention by Design
offers these reference materials in a downloadable
format at no cost.
